Pashinyan says Armenian return to Karabakh is unrealistic

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called the signing of a peace declaration with Azerbaijan a “historic event” during his address to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg.
He said the declaration, signed at the White House in Washington and witnessed by U.S. President Donald Trump, was an achievement for both the governments and peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Pashinyan added that the return of Armenians to Karabakh was an unrealistic scenario and warned that such moves could harm the peace process with Baku. He said the future of Armenians who left the region lies with Armenia and its citizenship.
