Aliyev eyes nationwide expansion of Karabakh governance model to curb bureaucracy
Azerbaijan may expand a specialized administrative model currently used in its liberated territories to the rest of the country to increase efficiency and reduce bureaucracy, President Ilham Aliyev said on Monday.
In an interview with local television channels, Aliyev described the governance framework in Karabakh and East Zangezur as an "operational and flexible method" that requires fewer officials.
The President issued a direct call to civil servants to "work wholeheartedly," emphasizing that public tolerance for official arbitrariness has reached its limit following the country's historic military victories. "We must all be intolerant of problems in society and the arbitrariness of officials... starting with myself," Aliyev stated.
