Armenia’s Pashinyan leads procession in Yerevan after Christmas service
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan led a procession in central Yerevan on Monday following a Christmas liturgy, describing the event as a “cross procession”.
The march began after a Christmas service at the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral, which was attended by Armenia’s senior leadership.
Pashinyan was accompanied by his wife, Anna Hakobyan. Government officials and members of the ruling Civil Contract party also took part.
Participants headed towards the Saint Anna Church, local media reported.
