Turkey’s interior minister meets Ilham Aliyev

 

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on April 9 received Turkey’s Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci, the presidential press service said.

Ciftci thanked Aliyev for the meeting and conveyed greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Aliyev thanked him for the greetings and asked him to convey his own greetings to Erdogan.

Both sides noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are based on the principles of brotherhood and strategic alliance, and highlighted expanding cooperation across all areas, including between the interior ministries of the two countries.
