Ex-head of Caspian Shipping banned from leaving Azerbaijan

Aydin Bashirov, former head of thestate-owned Caspian Shipping Company, has been banned from leaving the country, Qafqazinfonews website said.

 

Bashirov, who was fired last month,was stopped at Baku’s Heydar Aliyev International Airport and was not allowedto fly to Germany. He was told that he could not leave the country until Dec.22, the website said.

 

Bashirov was going to Germany formedical treatment, according to Qafqazinfo.
