“Portonovi” is key project connecting Montenegro and Azerbaijan

Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism and Sustainable Development Branimir Gvozdenović met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the International Travel and Tourism Fair (ATIF 2014) held in Baku. 

“Portonovi” is the key project connecting the two countries and their economies, and it will have a huge impact on boosting Montenegro’s economic growth, Minister Gvozdenović said.

The project has given a positive incentive to other investments in Montenegro, especially in the Bay of Kotor. In addition to this, it would be significant to link projects in the southern and northern parts of Montenegro, which would raise the quality of investments in Montenegro, they agreed.
