According to the information, the opening ceremony of the conference themed "Strengthening Ambitions and Ensuring Action" will feature a lineup of prominent figures in the global climate arena, including COP29 President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev, COP28 President Sultan Al Jaber, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Jane Mohammed, Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Simon Stiell, and Chair of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) Nabeel Munir.
Panel discussions throughout the two-day event will focus on pathways to ensure a successful outcome for COP29.
The conference will take place at the iconic Heydar Aliyev Center.
