President Ilham Aliyev is going to attend a military parade and other celebrations planned to be held in Moscow on May 9 to mark the end of World War Two, the Azerbaijani leader’s press service said.
Aliyev accepted an invitation he received from Russian President Vladimir Putin several months ago, according to Azar Qasimov, head of the Azerbaijani president’s press service.
US and European leaders have refused to join the celebrations because of Russia’s military involvement in Ukraine.
