Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev will visit Ankara to attend the fifth meeting of the High-level Strategic Cooperation Council, the Turkish president’s office said on Tuesday.
Aliyev will arrive on January 15 to attend a cooperation meeting of the two countries to be chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Azerbaijani leader.
The two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation.
"The regional and international developments that interest the two countries will be discussed," a statement from the presidency said.
Political, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as trade between the two countries are among the issues to be discussed.
