Presidents of Bulgaria, Serbia view construction of gas pipeline to pump Azerbaijani gas

Presidents Rumen Radev of Bulgaria and Alexandar Vucic of Serbia got acquainted with the construction of a gas pipeline, which is aimed at diversifying energy supplies, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Bulgaria Huseyn Huseynov said.

"The 170 km pipeline is designed to deliver Azerbaijani gas through new systems, and it is expected to be put into operation by the end of the year," the ambassador said.

Earlier it was reported that construction of the Bulgarian-Serbian intersystem gas pipeline with a length of 170 km began in Bulgaria. Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Serbian President Alexandar Vucic took part in the official commencement ceremony.
