Despite the opposition's obstacles, Georgia has done everything possible to implement the recommendations of the European Commission regarding the acquisition of EU membership candidate status, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili told journalists, reported from the local press

"Georgia carried out a very transparent process, we responded to all 12 recommendations and implemented them as soon as possible,” he said.

At the same time, he pointed out the obstacles and provocations of the opposition as the main problem on this path.

The prime minister noted that he is optimistically waiting for the opinion of the European Commission and the decision of the European Council.
