Currently, no convicted or arrested in a prison is on a hunger strike, said the head of the public relations department of the Prison Service, Mehman Sadigov.
He called the information that a group of convicts continued a hunger strike to be misinformation and a delusion of public opinion.

Meanwhile, in jail N 13 from January 13, activists Ilkin Rustamzade, Bayram Mamedov, Ahsan Nuruzade and Elchin Ismayilli are on a hunger strike in solidarity with Mehman Huseynov and demanding the release of political prisoners.

Later Giyas Ibrahimov and Orkhan Bakhyshly kept in other prisons joined them.

Today, the Prosecutor General"s Office announced the termination of criminal proceedings in the case of the blogger Mehman Huseynov, reported the relatives of these political prisoners who visited them in prisons.
