Gazprom to sell up to 2 bcm of gas per year to Azerbaijan

Russia's Gazprom said on Friday it has signed a deal to sell up to 2 billion cubic metres of gas per year to Azerbaijan Methanol Company (AzMeCo).

Gazprom, which used to buy gas from Azerbaijan in previous years, said that it plans to start supplies in the near future. The Gazprom gas is to be used for the Karadagh Methanol Plant.
