Azerbaijan ranks first in CIS in Global Competitiveness Index

Azerbaijan ranks 40th among 140 countries, according to Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) of World Economic Forum. Azerbaijan retains its first place among the CIS countries, the World Economic Forum Report says.

Kazakhstan ranks 42nd, Russia 45th, Tajikistan 80th, Armenia 82nd, Moldova 84th, and Kyrgyzstan 102nd.

The top three places in the GCI rankings are held by Switzerland, Singapore and the United States.
