Gazprom starts gas supplies to Azerbaijan

Russia's top natural gas producer Gazprom said on Thursday it has started gas supplies to Azerbaijan on Sept. 29 at the pace of around 6 million cubic metres a day.

It added that under the 5-year deal, signed in September, Gazprom would supply up to 2 billion cubic metres of gas per year to Azerbaijan.
