President Aliyev meets Turkish army chief in Baku

Aliyev said that Azerbaijani-Turkish cooperation is expanding successfully in all areas, including the military field, state news agency Azartac reported. 

He stressed the importance of joint military exercises held by Azerbaijan and Turkey. Azerbaijan and Turkey have the "closest relations", he said, adding that the two countries have always supported each other on all issues. Aliyev expressed the hope that a broad exchange of views on the expansion of military cooperation will be held during Akar's visit.
