SOCAR interested in Canadian energy projects

SOCAR Trading, a unit of the state oil company of Azerbaijan, is interested in oil and natural gas development projects in Canada, the company’s president said. 

"Canada has long-term and recoverable reserves. SOCAR plans to work in the area in Canada," Rovnaq Abdullayev said. 

SOCAR has opened an office in Canada’s Calgary.
