Azerbaijan offers its pipelines for Russian gas exports to Iran

Russia’s Gazprom can use Azerbaijani pipelines to export natural gas to Iran, SOCAR President Rovnaq Abdullayev said.

"They can use our pipelines,” Abdullayev told reporters Friday in the Azerbaijani town of Sumqayit. "We’ve not received such an offer.”

Abdullayev said SOCAR is interested in gas swaps with Gazprom.
