Shocking footage has shown a disabled Palestinian man being tipped out of his wheelchair by Israeli police in Hebron.
Majed al-Fakhouri, 53, said he was trying to help an injured girl, who had been shot in the arm by officers during an attempted stabbing just moments earlier, when he was ruthlessly pushed to the ground.
The incident was captured by onlookers and shows Mr al-Fakhouri dumped in the middle of the road by the aggressive officer.
When disgusted witnesses try to rush to his aid they are told to disperse by officers with one policeman seen thrusting his rifle in the face of a crowd member and trying to kick him away.
Onlookers are then seen running for cover after an Israeli soldier throws a stun grenade into the road.
Mr al-Fakhouri told the Telegraph that he was simply trying to administer first aid to the 14-year-old girl, who can be seen lying in a pool of what looks like her own blood behind the offending officer.
He said: 'I saw blood coming out of her arm and side and I thought she was going to bleed to death.
'I tried to help her but a police officer stopped me and ordered me to go back. Then he turned me over and my head hit the ground.'
The girl, Yasmin Rashad al-Zarou, was seriously wounded and was later taken to hospital by Israeli authorities.
Mr al-Fakhouri was also taken to hospital after the incident but he did not suffer any serious injuries.
The attack went viral when it was shared on social media, as well as Israeli television, leaving many Palestinians furious.
Mr al-Fakhouri said he wanted the officer in question to be held responsible but doubted anything would happen.
He said: 'There is no justice for us. There is justice inside Israel for Israelis but nothing for us here.'
An Israeli police spokesman said an internal investigation was taking place into the incident.
