Azerbaijan to privatize 140 state enterprises

Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Property Issues has announced an auction for October 11 for privatization of 85 state enterprises and facilities, the state committee said.
These enterprises are located in the cities of Baku, Ganja, Sumgait as well as in the districts of Salyan, Ujar, Beylagan, Aghdash, Yevlakh and others, VestnikKavkaza reported.
The enterprises operate in such spheres as agrochemicals, construction, transportation, poultry farming, industry, recycling and so on.
At the same time, 30 small state enterprises and facilities will be put up for sale on October 11. Those facilities include non-residential areas, public catering and shopping facilities located in various districts of Baku.
Twenty-five vehicles are also among the state properties to be put up for privatization in October, Trend reports.
