Iran military ships leave northern port for Azerbaijan

Iranian Damavand destroyer and Joshan (Jowshan) missile launcher boat have left Iran for Baku, Azerbaijan, with a message of peace and friendship, Fars news agency reported.


"Damavand destroyer and Joshan missile launcher boat left Anzali Port this morning [16 October] for Azerbaijan headed by Captain Abdolhossein Zafari to convey a message of peace and friendship," Fars news agency reported.


The commander of the fourth Naval Zone of the Navy, Rear Admiral Afshin Reza'i, told the news agency that visiting the ports of the Caspian Sea countries is included in this year's agenda of the navy.
