Pakistan to buy gas from SOCAR

Pakistan decided to negotiate with six countries to import liquefied natural gas (LNG). APA-Economics reports these countries are Petronas (Malaysia), Gazprom (Russia), Engie (France), Eni (Italy), Otto (Oman) and SOCAR (Azerbaijan).
After documentation works are completed, Pakistan will carry out intercountry import transaction among these companies.
According to information, negotiations on price and other significant aspects will firstly be conducted with Petronas and Gazprom, then with others.
