Azerbaijani culture minister fires puppet theater head for embezzlement

Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Karimov has sacked the director of the Gakh State Puppet Theater, Nazim Mahmudov, from his post, Report informs, citing the ministry.

"The employment contract with the director of the Gakh State Puppet Theater, Nazim Mahmudov, was terminated in accordance with the relevant clauses of the Labor Code over misappropriation and embezzlement, using his official powers and thus committing offenses that undermine the authority of the central executive body," the ministry elaborated.
