The activity of secondary school No.47 in Baku will continue in the form of distance education, said the Baku City Education Department.

25 students and four teachers of secondary school No. 47 have been confirmed to contract COVID-19. For this reason, based on the opinion of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, in-person learning at secondary school No. 47 was replaced by distance education for 14 days. During this period, classes at the educational institution will continue in the online form, and the continuity of education will be ensured.

"The requirements arising from the sanitary-epidemiological situation are strictly observed in educational institutions for more reliable protection of students and pedagogical staff of the school against coronavirus infection," the statement said.
