Creation of educational quarter envisaged in Aghdam

"The transformation of Karabakh into an educational center is on the agenda. It is planned to create a unique education quarter in Aghdam," Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, said at the panel "Great Return to Karabakh: Sustainable Settlement and Economic Reintegration" held within the UNEC Economic Forum.

According to him, the foundation of Karabakh University will be laid in that quarter:

"For now, the university concept must be developed. Using the scientific potential of Karabakh is a long way. Sustainable settlement in Karabakh means the development of people's skills and knowledge. Because it is intended to develop and shape their skills in the adaptation process of people moved and settled there."
