French president talks about Azerbaijan's return of 8 Armenian servicemen

"I welcome Azerbaijan's extradition of eight Armenian servicemen to Armenia. Our crisis center has arranged a plane for the return of the servicemen," French President Emmanuel Macron said at a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to Macron, the issue of missing persons was raised during a video meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the European Council Charles Michel and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan:

"This is also an element of stability. I appreciate the critical role played by the Russian military during the tensions on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border," he said.
