Azerbaijani president calls for clarification of corridor issue with exclave via Armenia

"I mean both the railway and the highway because I informed President [of the European Council Charles] Michel about the railway that we have built more than 60 kilometers of the 100-kilometer-long segment passing through Azerbaijan and will complete construction next year. But, unfortunately, in Armenia, they have not even started a feasibility study, which indicates that the process may be delayed.

"As for the highway, Azerbaijan is actively building it, and a major part of the road has already been built. We also hope that by the end of next year, the highway will probably reach the Armenian border. Unfortunately, the Armenian prime minister did not specify the geographical coordinates during the meeting in Brussels. I raised this issue in a video conference on February 4, but there was no response. On April 6, I again asked for the geographical coordinates of the road, but there was no answer. I hope we will solve it soon," he said.
