Lavrov: “We appreciate the balanced attitude of Azerbaijan towards the special operation in Ukraine”

"Russia appreciates the balanced and responsible attitude of the Azerbaijani leadership to what is happening," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, said at the press conference with Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov.

"We appreciate Azerbaijan's understanding of the security situation that has accumulated over the years, not only in and around Ukraine but also in Europe - the whole architecture was previously agreed upon, but in recent years it has been systematically destroyed by our Western counterparts," he said.
