British admiral calls Russia and China threat to his country
"While we see Russia as a clear and present danger, China is posing a long-term challenge,” head of the Royal Navy, and Naval Service of the United Kingdom Admiral Ben Key told Sky News.
"To use a nautical analogy, we must take care to scan our binoculars across the whole horizon. The risk of focusing solely on Russia... is if you miss the long-term, strategic challenge posed by China,” the naval chief said.
At the same time, Key believes that Great Britain should respond to the current threat from Russia, but he did not explain what he meant.
