President of Kazakhstan arrives in Azerbaijan

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived on an official visit to Azerbaijan on August 24.

A guard of honor was lined up for the guest at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport where the national flags of both countries were waved.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was welcomed at the airport by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, and other officials.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is expected to arrive in Azerbaijan today, Report informs, citing the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.

As reported, the expansion of commercial-economic, transport, logistics, cultural-humanitarian cooperation, and the development of strategic partnership will be discussed within the framework of the visit.

At the same time, several documents are expected to be signed between the two countries.
