Defense Ministry: Turkish-Azerbaijani relations are eternal and everlasting

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan congratulated Turkiye on the occasion of August 30 - Victory Day.

"Turkish-Azerbaijani relations, built on the philosophy of great leaders Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and Heydar Aliyev, 'Azerbaijan's joy is our joy, its sorrow is our sorrow' and 'One nation, two states,' are eternal and everlasting. Our brotherly and friendly Turkiye, we congratulate you on Victory Day!" the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated on Telegram.

Turkiye has been celebrating Victory Day every year since 1924 (officially 1935) to commemorate the victory at the Battle of Dumlupınar, a decisive battle in the Great Offensive.
