Turkish defence minister pilots F-16 fighter jet over northern Aegean Sea

Turkey's Defence Minister Hulusi Akar piloted an F-16 fighter jet over the northern Aegean Sea, reported from Hurriyet.

Tensions with Greece have recently intensified again. Hulusi Akar criticized Greece's behavior in his speech at the opening ceremony dedicated to the start of the pilot training this year: "We have responded to Greece's arrogant and shameless behavior at all times, everywhere, and we will continue to do so."

Touching on the suppression of Turkish planes by the S-300 air defense system, the minister said that they expect NATO and third countries to be objective.
