Bernard Buffet's personal exhibition opened at Baku's Heydar Aliyev Center on September 26.

Forty-three works by the artist are put on display at the exhibition.

Leyla Aliyeva, vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, said: “I discovered Bernard Buffet and his works a few years ago. I fell in love with his portraits at the time. In my mind, the works by Buffet are rich in emotions and express his deep feelings. Even the darkest works by Buffet give positive energy. Simply, looking at the portraits takes me to a happy world”.

The exhibition will be open until January.
