Gas prices in Europe fall below $1,100 per thousand cubic meters
On Thursday, exchange prices for gas in Europe dropped by almost 1% compared to the settlement price the day before, reported from the London Stock Exchange ICE.
November futures (according to the index of the largest European hub, TTF) opened trading with a decrease - at the level of $1,020.1 per thousand cubic meters (-5.4%). Then they reached $1,071.6. The dynamics of quotations are based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $1,078.7 per thousand cubic meters.
In early March, due to fears of a ban on the import of Russian energy resources, gas prices renewed their historical highs for four days in a row. The price record of $3,892 per thousand cubic meters was reached on March 7.
