Hulusi Akar: 3,585 terrorists have been neutralized since start of 2022

The Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 3,585 terrorists since the beginning of this year, Turkish Minister of Defense Hulusi Akarsaid,reported the local press.

According to him, 36,854 terrorists have been killed in northern Iraq and Syria since 2015: "Operation Claw-Sword, which began on November 19, is the largest-scale operation organized against terrorists in recent times."

Akar said the Turkish army continues to fight against terrorists with the principle of "border is honor": "We continue to destroy terrorists within and across our borders. The borders are guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
