Kremlin responds to Nikol Pashinyan

The agreement of both Azerbaijan and Armenia is necessary for an international peacekeeping mandate in Karabakh, the Spokesman of Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, said.
Peskov said that the placement of international mediators in the region is possible only with the consent of both sides - Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Today, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the government meeting that if the Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh cannot ensure security and stability, then it is necessary to discuss this issue in the UN Security Council. According to him, a mandate for the peacekeeping contingent should be obtained from the UN, or an additional multinational peacekeeping contingent should be sent to Karabakh.
