Ukraine's deputy defense minister responsible for supplying troops with food and equipment resigned on Tuesday morning, citing "media accusations" of corruption that he and the ministry say are baseless, reported from Al Arabiya.

A statement on the defense ministry's website said that Vyacheslav Shapovalov's resignation was "a worthy deed" that would help retain trust in the ministry.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed an order to dismiss the Deputy Prosecutor General, Oleksiy Symonenko, reported from the Ukrainian media sources.

The reason for Symonenko's dismissal has yet to be disclosed.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, wrote a resignation letter, reported from Ukrinform.

He published a photo of his letter in Telegram.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced "personnel decisions" on officials of various levels.
