Spain to supply Leopard tanks to Ukraine

The Spanish authorities have decided to join the European plan for the supply of Leopard tanks to Ukraine, according to the El Pais newspaper, reported from TASS.
The position of Madrid was due to the presence of an agreement on this issue at the European level. The Spanish army has 347 Leopard tanks.
Last summer, the Spanish press reported that the country’s government was studying the possible transfer of ten Leopard tanks to Ukraine. However, in August, the Spanish authorities stated that the tanks were in poor condition, so they could not yet be transferred to Kyiv.
