France stands in solidarity with Turkiye and the Turkish people in the face of this terrible ordeal - a devastating earthquake, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Boillon said.

"On behalf of the French Embassy, I signed the book of condolences of the Turkish Embassy in Baku, expressing deep sympathy and regret. Your grief is our grief. France stands by Turkiye and the Turkish people in the face of this terrible ordeal. As President Macron said, France will provide all necessary support,” the ambassador tweeted.
