Cavusoglu: Normalization of relations between Armenia, Azerbaijan will contribute to peace in the region

Armenia extended a hand of friendship to us in a difficult time, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.

He said the normalization process in the South Caucasus continues: "The normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan will contribute to peace in the region.”

According to Cavusoglu, the issue of opening land routes with Armenia is on the agenda: "Today we talked about it too.”
