Louis L. Bono: US stands for lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia

The United States stands for lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, US Department of State Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Louis L. Bono said.

He noted that lasting peace between Baku and Yerevan requires the political will of both countries.

Therefore, the United States wants the parties to maintain continuous contacts and assist them in this, the senior advisor said.

He noted that he is aware of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's stance on the OSCE Minsk Group.

At the same time, the senior advisor said it is important for the United States that Azerbaijan and Armenia maintain contacts regardless of the negotiation format.
