Volodymyr Zelenskyy expresses readiness to receive Xi Jinping in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed his readiness to host Chinese President Xi Jinping in the country.

"We are ready to see him here. I want to speak with him,” Zelenskyy said in an interview with the Associated Press.

The President of Ukraine noted that he had spoken to Xi before the outbreak of the full-scale war. However, there was no contact with the Chinese leader during over a year of Russia's full-scale invasion.
