The Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced another 500 meters in Bakhmut over the past day, said Sergey Cherevaty, Speaker of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, 141 soldiers of the Russian army were killed in this direction: "At the same time, 220 people were injured, and 1 soldier was captured. Also, 1 enemy tank, 1 BMP, 3 cannons, 4 "Orlan" type UAVs, 3 ammunition depots were destroyed."

Saying that Bakhmut remains a priority for the Russian army, Cherevaty added that despite this, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repel their attacks. He stressed that they put serious pressure on the enemy on the flanks.

The representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also noted that Russia's claims about the complete capture of Bakhmut are completely unfounded.
