UK to give Ukraine Scimitar reconnaissance armored vehicles

Britain will give Ukraine Scimitar Mk2 armored reconnaissance vehicles, Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) said, reported from RBC-Ukraine.
Representative of the RBSL have already traveled to Germany to help the British Army in preparing reconnaissance vehicles for shipment to Ukraine.
The specialists provided support in diagnosing faults, gave technical advice and recommendations for repairs, advice on vehicle safety, conducted road tests and took part in repairs. In total, 23 armored vehicles were prepared within 32 days.
The vehicle's armor was reportedly reinforced with additional Plasan modules, as well as a grille to counter hand grenade launchers.
In addition, the hull and turret of the vehicle are equipped with enhanced anti-mine and explosive protection and electronic countermeasures to protect against improvised explosive devices.
