FM: Azerbaijan made a financial contribution of $1.6 million to UN Middle East Agency

In order to support Palestinian refugees, Azerbaijan has contributed $1.6 million to the UN Middle East Agency, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said at the Open-Ended Extraordinary Meeting of the OIC Executive Committee at the level of Foreign Ministers, reported from MFA.

He said that during the chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement, Azerbaijan paid special attention to the Palestinian problem, and in this regard, the Movement acted in the direction of strengthening the work of the Committee of Ministers on Palestine.

The minister noted that efforts will be continued to achieve a solution to the Palestinian problem in accordance with the norms and principles of international law.
