Mirzoyan: Sixth round of exchange of proposals underway between Yerevan and Baku

Armenia and Azerbaijan are conducting the sixth round of exchanging proposals for concluding a peace treaty, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at a meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly on the draft state budget for 2024.

Reported from Sputnik Armenia that, according to Mirzoyan, Yerevan continues its course towards implementing the peace agenda.

He noted that the first principle of this treaty concerns the mutual recognition of territorial integrity by the parties. The second principle of the agreement is related to the delimitation and demarcation of the borders of the two countries, the process should be carried out on the basis of the most recent and legitimate maps of the Soviet period. The third principle concerns the unblocking of regional communications.
