Over 800 people pass through Rafah checkpoint into Egypt from Gaza in one day

At least 826 foreign citizens passed from the Gaza Strip to Egypt through the Rafah checkpoint over the past day, an Egyptian border service employee told CNN.

Reported from Interfax that this is a record number of evacuees from the Gaza Strip since the conflict began to escalate.

Among those evacuated to Egypt were also nine wounded Palestinians, the TV company's source said.

At least 421 foreign and dual citizens are on evacuation lists from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah checkpoint on the border with Egypt, according to a statement of the border service of the Palestinian enclave, published on its Facebook page.

Reported from TASS that the published lists include citizens and nationals of Morocco, Jordan, Spain, the Netherlands, Peru, Russia, the US and Sweden.
