Javier Colomina: NATO supports normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations

NATO supports efforts to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, said Javier Colomina, the Deputy Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Security Policy and NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia.
Colomina noted that NATO supports the steps taken by the European Union, the United States, Azerbaijan and Armenia to normalize bilateral relations between Baku and Yerevan.
Colomina also recalled that he recently met with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia within the framework of the OSCE ministerial meeting in Skopje, North Macedonia.
"We will continue our support and hope for the best. The main thing is that stability in the Caucasus is ensured not only by our activities in Georgia, but also through the normalization that Armenia and Azerbaijan can bring,” Javier Colomina added.
