Mehriban Aliyeva honored with Kuwaiti high state award

President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva has been honored with a high state award of the State of Kuwait.

Issued by chair of the Kuwaiti Women's Affairs Committee Sheikha Latifa Al-Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the Honorary Diploma recognizes Mehriban Aliyeva` s role in promoting the Islamic cultural heritage worldwide, her charity activities both in Azerbaijan and abroad, and contribution to developing education and healthcare.This is the first award conferred by Kuwaiti women upon a foreign public and political figure.(AzerTAc)Bakudaily.Az
