Russian police arrest 11 Azeris for abduction

Eleven Azerbaijani nationals have been arrested in the Russiancapital, Moscow, on abduction charges.

The men are accused of involvement in the abduction of aMoscow-based businessman for ransom, the Russian Ministry of Interior said onits website.

They had earlier demanded $500,000 from the businessman, theministry said.

The men are aged between 28 and 47.
